I am a Baton Rouge native and attended St. Joseph’s Academy and LSU. I graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio, attended law school in Oklahoma and was admitted to practice there in 1992. While in Oklahoma, I practiced law and was co-owner of an event planning and incentive travel business. I returned to Baton Rouge in 2003 and was admitted to practice in Louisiana the same year. My practice concentrates in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, successions/probate and small business advising such as business succession issues, buy-sell agreements, and corporate and LLC formation and mergers. I enjoy working one-on-one with my clients to help design effective and creative solutions.

I'm a member of the American Bar Association Section on Real Property Probate and Trust and the General Practice Solo Division. I serve on the editorial boards for the ABA publications GP Solo and SOLO Newsletter. I am also a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
I am the President of Capital Area Network and a member of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge. I volunteer for CASA (Capital Area Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation Pro Bono Legal Services Program. I'm a dog lover, runner, tennis player/fan, and LSU Tigers football fan.
